David has been active in jazz education for many years now. From weekly clinics that are cloaked in a rehearsal with the Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra to college level clinics on string writing, jazz guitar and improvisation. Many of the original members of the first JSYO are now completing their masters degrees in various music conservatories such as Manhattan School Of Music while others are completing their Batchelor degrees at schools from the New School, Berklee, SUNY Colleges and CUNY.
