The O’Rourkestra range from a classic Big Band and is expandable to a full orchestra. In addition to arrangements by it’s leader David O’Rourke - the band also perform special tribute projects in honor of great arrangers like Nelson Riddle. In the tribute concerts the original arrangements are played, on occasions for the first time since they were recorded. David O’Rourke’s arrangements have provided accompaniment to trumpeter Jeremy Pelt on his Close To My Heart recording and in live performances, vocalist Pamela Luss for her debut CD featuring David’s string arrangements performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
